Hand built point-2-point from select parts,
voiced, tested, burned in.
A high quality, no frills booster that delivers exceptional tone.
No complex array of controls True Bypass:
The signal travels through Silver Teflon wire directly from in to out when off.
Touch Sensitive:
Experienced players know it's not all in a pedal, it's in you hands.
This booster lets your hands, style, guitar and amp shine through.
Experience delicious fat tones from unity to max gain. The Top Boost gives a little top-end sizzle when you want it!
PUSH: (Left knob) adjusts the output level with controllable output from unity, or drive a tube amp into fat city.
TOP BOOST: (switch) TB switch lets more upper-mid through, for a sweet cut, not harsh.
There is no heavy tone coloration added except the natural drive of the dual jfet pre amp itself, and you control that with the input gain.
A simple pedal that hangs with the best,
and has replaced a few.
Hand made in the USA in small runs.
NO PC Board
Hand assembled point-to-point.
keeping the input to the preamp low (Pull) causes little to no breakup.
the output can then be adjusted with the Push to unity or boosted.
*Note-1: high settings of Push
can overdrive the front end of an amp
even with Pull turned down, look for balance here.
turning the input to the preamp UP (Pull) will start to ad soft harmonics to the tone .
then adjust output (Pull) to desired level
*as always NOTE-1 still applies
Increase the input to the preamp (Pull) further, and the tone becomes reminiscent of a vintage tube amp cranked.
keeping in mind higher input equals more output.
When adjusting one, remember the other.
*NOTE-1 applies
with input to the preamp (Pull) maxed it is now into saturation. Depending on how hot signal is going in equals how saturated.
A sweet, natural, harmonic overdrive is now a part of each note or chord. The tone is always smooth never coarse or choppy, and touch sensitive!
To clean it up, just turn down the guitars volume, this limits input to the preamp just as turning down Pull would do on the pedal.
